Mistral offers cloud transcription via their open-source Voxtral speech model — fast, multilingual, and available on a free Experiment plan.

Free Tier

• Free Experiment plan — rate-limited access to all Mistral models, including Voxtral transcription.
• No credit card required.
• No expiration — free as long as you stay within rate limits.

Get Your API Key

1. Go to console.mistral.ai/api-keys.
2. Sign up with email or GitHub. No credit card required.
3. Click Create new key.
4. Copy your API key.

Set Up in VivaDicta

1. Open VivaDicta and go to Settings.
2. Go to Edit Mode → Transcription.
3. Select Mistral as the transcription provider.
4. Paste your API key.
