How to Transcribe a YouTube Video

1. Copy a YouTube video URL.
2. In VivaDicta, use the YouTube transcription feature.
3. Paste the URL.
4. VivaDicta extracts the audio and transcribes it using your selected transcription model.
5. AI processing is available on the transcribed content — same presets and providers as voice recordings.

Timestamps

Toggle timestamps on or off. When enabled, the transcription includes time markers so you can reference specific parts of the video.

History

YouTube transcriptions are saved to your history with a YouTube source tag, making them easy to find and filter.
