Custom Vocabulary

Add words that the transcription model might not recognize — technical terms, product names, abbreviations, or names of people and places.

These words are injected into the transcription prompt, helping the model recognize and spell them correctly.

Adding Words

1. Open VivaDicta settings → Vocabulary.
2. Add your custom words or phrases.
3. They'll be used in all future transcriptions.

Word Replacements

Automatic find-and-replace rules applied to every transcription after processing. Useful for:

• Abbreviation expansion — "ASAP" → "as soon as possible".
• Name correction — fixing common misspellings of names.
• Formatting — standardizing how certain terms appear.
• Censoring — replacing unwanted words.

Adding Replacements

1. Open VivaDicta settings → Word Replacements.
2. Add a "find" and "replace with" pair.
3. Replacements are applied automatically after every transcription.

Sync

Both custom vocabulary and word replacements sync across devices via iCloud.
