Browse, search, play back, filter, and export your transcriptions.
Every transcription is saved to your history with the raw text, AI variations, audio recording, and metadata. You can browse, search, play back, filter, and export your transcriptions.
Browsing & Searching
- All transcriptions are listed chronologically in the main window.
- Use the search bar to find transcriptions by text content.
- Click a transcription to see the full detail view.
Audio Playback
Each transcription stores the original audio recording. Play it back from the detail view to review what was said.
Filtering
Use the sidebar to filter by:
- Source tags — Mac, iOS, iOS Keyboard, Share Extension.
- Custom tags — your own tags (see Tags & Organization).
Audio File Import
Drag and drop audio files into VivaDicta to transcribe them. Supported formats: WAV, MP3, M4A, AIFF, MP4, MOV, AAC, FLAC, CAF, AMR, OGG, OPUS, 3GP.
Retranscription
If you want to try a different transcription model on an existing recording, you can retranscribe from the detail view. The original audio is used — no need to re-record.
AI Variations
Generate additional AI-processed variations from the detail view by selecting a different preset. Each variation is saved alongside the original.
Metadata
Each transcription shows metadata including: transcription model used, Viva Mode, recording duration, timestamps, and source device.
Export
Export transcriptions to CSV, JSON, or Markdown. See Export Transcriptions.
iCloud Sync
Your history syncs across devices via iCloud. See iCloud Sync.
