A recorder that opens when you ask it to
- The panel appears almost immediately. The start sound, the window-context capture and the mode lookup all used to run ahead of it
- It shows the right Viva Mode on the first frame, instead of opening on the previous one and switching across a moment later
- Screen-context capture for AI enhancement is roughly ten times faster and no longer ties up the Neural Engine, so a run of back-to-back dictations stays as quick as the first one
- Lower CPU use while a recording is running
Word replacements
- Rules no longer rewrite the middle of non-English words. A rule for a short Russian, German or accented word could fire inside any longer word that merely began with it
- Replacement text containing
$1or similar is now inserted as written rather than being treated as a pattern
